The FAWCO Target Project is a 2-year investment by the FAWCO Community to empower women and girls. On March 11, 2020, S.A.F.E. (Save Alternatives for FGM Elimination) was announced as the 2019-2022 Target Project for Health online.

$142,062.96: 95% of funds will go to programs and services: i.e., psychosocial support, training, community outreach and education, Alternative Rites of Passage celebrations, safe haven, medical and healthcare. 5% of funds will be used to monitor and evaluate programming through the 2-year period.
Hope for Girls & Women Tanzania (HGWT) advocates to end female genital mutilation (FGM) and other harmful practices affecting women and children in Tanzania including but not limited to intimate partner violence, child marriage and other forms of violence.
